Got a new lens last week. Nikon 200-500 f5.6. I have been out in the back garden every night this week shooting the moon and unusually for Ireland the skies were clear enough to get these for 4 straight days.
Fingers crossed for clear skies tomorrow or Sunday night so as I can complete the set with a full moon.
Pretty impressed with this lens. All these are hand held with the crescent one being shot at 1/50th. The VR is very good.
Heavily cropped too as even with the lens at 500mm the moon is only taking up about 1/20th of the frame
