Phew...did you use your deodorant this morning?

The yellow mongoose, ( Cynictis penicillata) is sometimes referred to as the red meerkat.
In South Africa in the wild, they are a host (or carrier) of a strain of rabies. As a result, many farmers believe that they are a danger to them and their animals, resulting in much hunting of Yellow mongooses.

Elegant looking fur on these....good thing they aren't made into coats at least! Kill off your mongoose and there goes your snake population !
