Thank you for being so kind. Interesting suggestion from jeff - I might play around with V1, but I really saw the pillow and foot as part of the composition. And thanks to David, Hopper was the name I was trying to remember, though I didn't set out to imitate the style. I just sat on the bed and saw the picture...

like it, mainly for the strong composition with those verticals and horizontals. perfect would have been if you had a candid ad rem photo of someone else (Bill or the room service boy lol) angainst that bg rather then a self portrait though.

Sorry Koen, these two had to go together - and you really wouldn't want to see Bill's legs. I didn't think of involving hotel staff, I don't think it was that sort of establishment.

Blimey I was so shocked and thought you had uploaded the wrong photos I had to wait until now, and they are still there so it was ok, well you have some interesting thoughts when you are bored, I only hope there wasn't a CCTv camera in the room, we might see you on tele sometime.....
