Pier of the Year

Saltburn's funicular & pier with passing offshore storms in the distance...

This is one of the rare cases when I deliberately made two exposures and blended them in Photoshop. 95% of the image is a single exposure with a second exposure 2 stops darker used for the brightest part of the building at the head of the pier. I pride myself in getting things right in camera but in this case it simply wasn't possible Smile

I did give Lee a call but apparently they don't do a Saltburn Pier grad yet Tongue

Wouldn't advise cutting up any Lee grads at the moment as its a 14 week waiting list for a new one too...

I think that's great Den, there is a really lovely abstract too, cutting off the pier before the white facades start to show, great stuff.
