Pigeon Tower

By dtomo68
Hi all
Took this early sunday morning at Rivington .The pigeon Tower as its locally known stands on the moors above Rivington Lancashire , built by Lord Leverhulme many years along with his gardens .

I managed to get some shots of it without anyone around as this place gets really busy at weekends hope you like it

thanks for all the comments

The tower as far as I am aware the used to have a pigeon loft in it at one time, its was also where Lord Leverhulmes wife used to go to do her sewing as the view from the top is fantastic on clear days .
Yesterday when I took the picture you could clearly see Snowdon ,pennines, peakdistrict and cumbrian fells

Ive walked past this hundreds of times over the years, and never noticed those rocks before.
Well captured and a good mono treatment.
