Pigeons and humans (1 of 7)

By GwailoAngMo
If there is one creature that is visible in early every city under the sun, itís the pigeon. I am not their greatest fan, not by a long chalk.

Feeding pigeons by Venetians became illegal in 1997, and pigeon feed was finally banned from the Piazza San Marco in 2008. Since then, I am glad to say, there seems to be fewer of them about.

However, before the ban, tourists seemed only too happy to buy the feed and get swamped by an invasion of the feral vermin. The young lady on the right seems less than enchanted as they swooped in on her.

Two lovely versions and she isn't a happy bunny!
