I preferred the similar mono picture for the composition and the way the figures interacted with each other, but the use of colour here is very effective, and definitely worth an award.

A very well-thought-out image in placing the people high up in frame, and in the left corner against the large expanse of red brick paving. Well worth my award.

There's a warmth here, despite the rain, thanks to the colour of the bricks. The b&w version was more cold and bleak.
