Places Revisited 1

By LynneJoyce
When contemplating a New Year I reflect on the past and make evaluations of the places and people I have known. Some I will put down to experience and will not revisit, others I plan to include in my future. Since my circumstances have change drastically this year, this process is even more important than usual.

Photographs help me to make those decisions so exploring the archives figures a lot at this time of year. So the next few posts may well be from those archives. This one certainly is. Since I have't posted cityscapes in ages I am posting these photographs of a trip to Newcastle.

The images were taken with various cameras and using different lenses. If I take another trip to Newcastle (whether I do or not is as yet undecided) I may well use the new camera that is due to be delivered today, if the delivery service manages to get through the light sprinkling of snow that is!

Thank you for viewing and I hope you enjoy at least some of them.

Another super set Lynne full of excellent compositions and locations. I do like the info in V6 and the natural wall art in V14.
And yes, photography is a great relaxation for the mind and fills the heart with the love of simply doing it and the processing which follows. When we're taking pictures we're taking pictures, nothing else intrudes in the way of thoughts of less artistic ventures or things that trouble us.
I hope you're able to build new stepping stones into your future Lynne. The start of a new year is a great time to do it.

V11 for me please Lynne. I was in the same position as you four years ago. That's when I picked up a camera. It helps.
