Play Minstrel Play

By tull
Underneath the harvest moon
Where the ancient shadows will play and hide...
With a ghostly tune and the devil's pride...
"Stranger" whispered all the town
Has he come to save us from Satan's hand?
Leading them away to a foreign land...
Play for me, minstrel, play
And take away our sorrows...
Play for me, minstrel, play
And we'll follow...

Like the hole in his knee, glad you left it, he is immaculate aprt from that and that makes him perfect.

Do you remember a band called 'Amazing Blondel'. This guy looks like Terry Wincott who used to play with them.

Love the tones and the positioning - makes for a good natural portrait.

P.S.LOL at your hospital incident - those gowns are revealing!

I love how you always know some lyrics to go with all your shots. Great pic and great lyrics.
That hurdy-gurdy looks pretty old. We saw a Czech folk singer playing one of those a couple of years ago on the bridge in Prague. Someone asked him if it was a really old Czech instrument, but it turned out it was about 2 years old and made in England.

This is different Mark, I like it, nicely cropped with the lines of the tent angling away and the colour tone gives it mood, well taken and like the lyric, Adrian

Excellent capture Mark, I think leaving the hole adds realism to the image. ( Caught up at last, it's no good working, you get to far behind on epz) :o)
