Play Misty for Me

By MrsS
Another one from the early bit of Sunday. Not a lot to say about this one (I can hear the sighs of relief from here!Wink)

SO :

* It was early
* There was lots of mist in the valley
* The sky had some nice tinges to it
* The light on the fg rocks and heather was
ok

Have a happy Friday - - try not to work too hard, just ordered my new camera!! Smile

1/30sec @f14.1 ISO100 5 stops of ND soft grad

Thanks for looking - all comments are really welcome, I look forward to reading them all (I really do) - - - - s'pose I'd better pop off and get a life now..... Tongue

Cheers!

A lovely scene Fran. No lemmings around I hope. Not a good time or position to upset people I guess, looking down at that drop over the edge.
Lovely mist and very good detail in the rocks.
Well composed.

first thoughts were - a bit too much grad used, making the sky go almost black up top. However, because of the smooth graduation I actually think it works really well and makes for a very original image from this well known location.

Probably the best I've seen from this little meet Fran.

Light is superb on the f/g rocks, and love the heather in the bottom left corner. Think the dark sky pushes the eye down to where the action is this being the mist and the light on the edge and the trees in the valley.

Magic.
