By tonyguitar
These TGIF folks just decided to toss caution to the winds and go for a local evening cruise through the delta waters of Courtenay / Comox B.C. Canada...Vancouver Island.

It is a lovely evening tonight Tony. I just came in and it is still very warm out there and no wind! Nice shot......Sandy

And, such a wonderfully scenic part of the world. I treasured my time up there about 5-6 years ago, with the photos to prove it. Good shot, Tony.

Thank you Sandy...and Peter; This is a good place to live except for some rain forest weather in November to February. The USA has plenty of good places too. I lived for a time on the gulf at Corpus Christi Texas. Padre Island and Port Isabel were super for seafood and great people. Brownsville though you must take with caution. The Texas Rangers can be a bit too serious at times. Loved Texas and most Texans. Great music too. too. TG

Beautiful shot Tony! BC has some of the most beautiful scenery! When I lived there years ago...., we had the most beautiful view of the mountains and North Vancouver from our kitchen window. I remember wishing that the snow would come down off the mountain in the winter! But it never did, and was always so disappointed that there was no snow for Christmas lol

Thanks Brenda. I read you about Vancouver. Ran small business there in the 70s and eighties. Loved the West End life, Stanly Park, Dunderave in W. Van and all the great places to visit like Pemberton, Gang ranch, Gun Lakes, Lillooet, Golden Ears and the very rich wildlife area of Pit lake so close to Vancouver and so little discovered. TG
