Great freeze of "The Eye In The Sky." I like it, a very powerful image I am surprised to be the first to comment here.
I have only put it up a few minutes ago. I don't know why but viewing it on this site it's lost a fair bit of rened in the sky as the original is quite a bit redder

Thanks for your remarks

Nicely put together with a good view of the underside.
Did you replace the sky ? There are possibly a couple of places it missed I think. Not a bad choice of sky if you did though.

If you uploaded with the Adobe RGB colour profile then sometimes you can lose a little colour and contrast, sRGB is the colour profile recommended for uploading to the site and to the web in general.

There is one little triangle under the right wing that looks odd. Lovely sharp capture of the machine.
Nothing was Put together but the original RAW was quite dull and the chopper quite underexposed so i had to do a fair bit of lifting shadows and bringing out the yellow on the chopper I also made the sky brighter with contrast and saturation the pushed a bit more colour sats up overall and bring out the cloud/sky markings.

I did not think it was a composite as the selection of the blades would have been extraordinary, as it is an extraordinary shot, I love it.

Excellent. Right place, right time and lens.

For editorial use, I wouldn't be seeing my of the adjustments as out of order. For me, the rule is, could you hand print- even with a lot of effort.
