Pollock slag ladle

By oldgreyheron
This magnificent piece of North Eastern engineering stands outside the South Tees Business Centre where I have my business office. The 42 tonne slag ladle was designed by Ashmore, Benson and Pease. It operated at the Bessemer plant close by.

A reminder of business as it once was. And enough rust there to keep me happy for a week!
