Wonderful old car, great composition, don't think I would fancy attempting to drive it though, not with that front wheel at that angle Smile

I have enjoyed your Cuba images, Ann, and am sorry this is the last: fine shot of this old Pontiac with your lowish viewpoint putting all the emphasis on the front of the car.

It always amazes me how they keep these old cars running Cuba has been a rich source for your work this being no exception

Could only be Cuba, Ann Smile. The cubans certainly know how to look after these old models, with this one being no exception. Carol

Someone loves it to polish it like that, a wonderful image Ann.

I wonder how many of these ancient Pontiacs, Buicks and Chevvies are rusting away quietly being kept alive by mechanical wizardry and chewing gum.

A marvellous series you've given us from this wonderful island.

Images of Cuba have a unique quality
which works so well in photography.
Seems they have the oldest cars in
those styles from the 50's and 60's
which look so good in photos.

You've caught the essence of the place again with this one. Well polished but that wheel definitely looks iffy Smile. Last Cuban image 'til the next one huh GrinGrinGrin

Too bad about this being your last image from Cuba. Are you sure there aren't a couple is some folder tucked away on some memory card somewhere?
This is a wonderful example of the contrast between the meticulously cared for Pontiac and the typical surrounding adobe structures. This has "Cuba" written all over it.
Nicely captured, Ann.

They sure don't make 'em like this any more! Meeting an old American friend for lunch today - wish she could see this.

Just don't tell us you bought this, Ann? You're not a sucker for a smooth line of patter from a Brylcreemed Cuban seller are you? No, I thought not.
Iconic image of what many think of when you say 'Cuba'.
