Pool table

By xwang
The photo was taken in Sunnycroft , a national trust house in Wellington, Shropshire.
Some of the rooms were very dark. It's never be easy to take photo in NT houses. The room is relatively small,as well as dark.
I like the green colour, but I don't know anything about the game,.. I remembered it was on TV a lot before, I can't imagine how it works before colour TV,...Grin
I was going to make a slide show, but the software, Proshow gold, didn't work properly, when I tried to edit it, or I don't quite know how it works.
Do you still make slide shows? If you do, what kind of software do you use?
Thanks for viewing.

3 kinds of green. Again, you use diagonals so well in your photos to add interest. Are all the National Trust buildings closed?

Yes Jasmine, I make slide shows.
Well little videos with still images.
I use Windows Video Editor, its great fun. You can add music, and special effects to each image.
Its addictive though.

Beautiful image here Jas, thatís a very smart snooker table with its own square of parquet flooring. I used to watch snooker a lot - colour is excellent, mono tv it was very boring. Hope you get a slide show sorted.

Dave 🙂
A great image Jasmine, well composed. I agree with you that NT properties are difficult to take photographs in due to the low light. Some are kept intentionally dark to preserve the fabrics. At the moment, I'd be happy to go to any NT property, even if it was dark!

Thank you Diane for the Info.
I didn't know that Window10 has video editor,...I remembered that they had movie maker, and then they stopped it,..
I took a look, it is fun, especially the 3D, I put smoke on this photo, it looked like the table was on fire,..Grin,.. but I'm struggling with music, I don't know how to control the background music. Automatic background music doesn't show the length of the time, custom audio seems only on one photo,.. of course it is video editor, perfect for a piece of video. It's really great for video editing for free!

Thank you Christina.
Yes, they are all closed. I fear the small ones like this will never open again,.. or very difficult to visit.

Thank you Dave.
I guess that you are a snooker fun. I can't imagine watching snooker on B&W TV, but here you go,.. Grin

Thank you Mike for the comment.
Yes, That's why I thought to put some NT photos on,..Grin. I do miss the regular visits as well. Sometimes I prefer the private ones,..

Thanks Isabel for the compliment.

My Apple has a slide show feature built in. I was thinking the other day I'd like to have a pool table. Not sure where I'd put it!

Used to watch hours of snooker in the days of Hurricane Higgins and Jimmy White, couldn't image it in b/w. Nicely composed image of this games room Jasmine.SmileSmileSmile

I only know Steve Davis. He was huge in China, he was playing on Chinese TV a lot. He was young and he wasn't OBE! Grin
I know him more on "They think it is all over, .... " more than his snooker.
