Last month the 'North London Brass' band were invited to play a concert for RAF veterans at RAF Hendon.
The band set up under the wing of a Lancaster Bomber!
Gabriel can be seen here in the last upload, he plays alto sax.
Songs included 633 Squadron, The Dambusters March, Rule Britannia and many other rousing numbers.
Thanks for looking,

Edit: 'Crown Imperial' changed to 'POOS'

A brass band with reed instruments and a double bass!! I bet it sounded good though. Well recorded set, Tony.

A really nice set of images Tony, perfectly exposed and pin sharp. Gabriel looks pretty pleased with himself so I'm guessing his performance was superb.

A very well captured set, each with a tale tell or a tune to play.

A strong and varied reportage collection, excellent colour, with V2 and V6 standing out.

Applying the mind-set of an eight-year-old to V1 just for a moment, the very first thing I noticed was the registration mark of the Lancaster which with the RAF roundel reads POOS Wink

It must be end of term!!!

My understanding is that the band's name is a misnomer; it is actually a military band.
