Popular Lady!

By gingerdelight
It was our church's Winter Fair yesterday and it was a great success, raising over 500 for our 900th year celebrations next year. Dave and I were on the book stall, however this was the most popular place to be, for obvious reasons! A real bargain indeed!

Have a great Sunday evening, and thanks for all your lovely comments - always a joy to read!

Does that mean that for 50p you get both tea and coffee plus a biscuit?

Lovely, gentle observation, the blurred figure gives it grace and life.

You'd have paid at least 3.00 anywhere else, I'm sure, Carol, so a real bargain indeed.
Glad the Fair was such a success.

They're a load of chancers as far as I can see given the comments above! Sounds like a tasty deal though I suspect I'd be attending the book stall first! Were the deals there equally good!

If I accidentally drop my biscuit into my coffee, could I have another biscuit?

Congrats on the fundraising, by the way! And I love how you've shot this. I really like that glow around the sugar bowl and milk juglet.

I am clearly as bad as everyone else - I was deciding if I wanted tea or coffee and would I take with me for this tremendous bargain. But then I thought it was an awful lot of bus fare for a cup of tea and/or coffee, with or without biscuit!

Lovely shot Carol - I think it would be great in b/w - love the lady's hairstyle - the sort of thing school girls had in the 1930's - come to think of it, I had the same hairstyle and, no, before you ask, I was not a school in the 1930's - honest!
