Porth Oer

This is Porthoer / Whistling sand's Beach, not far from Aberdaron and yes the sand does whistle in some places and it did that night I was there. You have to walk down a steep hill down there and it's only a verry small beach,but-it's a lovely and verry popular beach.

I'd never heard of the Whistling Beach Netta.
It looks a lovely place and the young people
there look 'nice' not a crowd that would frighten you!
the water is so blue - is it sheltered with the steep banking
or is there a wind channel which causes the whistling?
