Still delving into the archives! Visited Portland Basin Museum, Ashton-under-Lyne where todays image was captured. Thought I would do a black and white conversion.

Lovely image and again very near to us. Ashton has really protected it's history and the Museum in the town centre and Portland Basin are excellent places to visit.

An excellently composed and captured shot, Carol, the narrowboat coming along at the right time and is positioned perfectly! Love that bridge to the left. Works very well in mono, and though quite different to your Blea Tarn, is also worthy of my Award 😃👍🏻
