You have captured the strong flow of the water well here Diane. I am not sure what shutter speed you were using - it always helps us to have your camera settings.

It does not look as if the light was the best for your visit and the scene is a little flat despite your contrast boost. I reckon you can push the contrast a bit further - see my mod. I have applied the boost (about 20%) mostly to the bridge and the blue water (the whites are burning out already) plus a little at very reduced opacity to the foliage on the right which is already quite saturated.

I really had to push the contrast up in that bridge! far too soft, I also brought down the saturation in the foliage and under the bridge, also burned the highlights and darkened the water a little.

I hope that my mod represent the scene you actually saw or thereabouts.

It's a decent scene, but about one stop over exposed. If you simple reduce brightness, everything punches out much better.

i like looboss's mod.
i was there this week during the bright light of the day, would loved to have caught it in soft light. lesley
