Power - Lines

By ade_mcfade
Lots of these around at the mo - puddles that is.

My 5D's not taken a single shot this weekend... it'd just get wet if I took it out :-(

So here's one from Tuesday when i had a little jaunt east and got a few shots at Fairburn Ings.

A night of no direct sunlight but lots of cloud cover, pretty un-interesting light generally - often when I get my best stuff. You have to think more to get a shot when it's not layed up on a plate for you by a lovely sunset Smile

So this one's all about lines as the pun in the title suggests - power lines, white lines, lead lines, and if you can think of any other lines, let me know Smile

Never has a bit of road, a barrier, a pylon and a puddle looked so damned good. Hat's off to you.

cheers folks

was a top night Richard - played pretty well, the drummer stopped 1/2 way through town called malice as he'd dropped his drum sticks!

other than that, very enjoyable and not tooo drunken!

light was appaling for this one to be honest - it's all down to using filters and relying on experience of other sh1tty-light-shoots I've done. the light we had at Ferrybridge/Temple Newsham was infinitely better!

Another great shot Ade, you just have the eye for a good shot. This is the type of place most folk would just drive straight past.

I am liking this series your doing.

Who's line is it anyway?
Nice work Ade.
As you said you have to work that bit harder, well it has paid off, well done.

You've got to like a line or 2 every now and then - makes for something more interesting if you ask me

Cheers folks - quite amazed that a shot of "bugger all" is teetering on the brink of an RC!

much appreciated - got one shot left in the series I think... but hope for good weather so I can get more!!!

Power in the countryside - a spring mission!
