This was at Tynemouth Pier today. The waves were amazing & I managed to get a set of 3 of this wave - beginning, middle & end so will hopefully post all 3 if it doesn't bore people too much! It does look better in the large version too.

How many time I have seen this before I got into photography, moved away, not been back since - bah humbug.

Great image of the action of the water, albeit with flat lighting.

Great timing. Might benefit from less sky at top of frame to emphasise the wave and its size.

A nice shot, a well caught moment. i've done a wee mod just to give it a bit more punch without taking it too far away from the original lighting. hope you approve
