You're certainly full of wind.

I love these things (wind turbines, not storms...), they're sculptural, they speak of the power of nature. But you can get lynched round here for saying that.
This speaks of the power of nature too.

Especially if a certain bearded landscaper north of the Wall hears you. No names, no pack drill... Wink

Not a breath of wind in the far north this morning. Looking forward to the storm. One day these will all lie derelict when there aren't government subsidies to maintain them.

Phil.

I like the storm, its dark and gloomy skies, as well the firm lines of the turbine.

In splendid isolation, and a photogenic blot on the landscape.

OK.

I like it.

Wonderful treatment, i like the atmosphere and composition, it look like the atmosphere just before the storm...Very good work...

Meanwhile, back to the subject of the image itself...

...I like the feel of a massively deadly, thick fog about to descend on the landscape, where every living thing has seeked refuge, apart from the lone sentinel, stoically standing its ground.

Superbly atmospheric. There is no easy and environmentally beneficial way for humans to get power, personally I'd go for these rather than what we are now told are "safe" versions of Chernobyl , that's my gust of hot air.

Perfect, in precisely the way that you do it best, Alan.

I love them, too. Not everywhere, but there are very many places where they're far more graceful than cooling towers or a containment vessel...

This speaks volumes. If we could learn to work with nature, rather than fight it, we would reap the benefits.
