Power to all our friends

By dudler
To the music that never ends
To the people we want to be
Baby, power to you and me.

I can see the beauty in a conventional power station, too. But I would like to tread the earth a little more lightly.

By the way - do you remember how their detractors said wind turbines would hoover birds out of the sky and kill them in millions? Oddly enough, there weren't piles of mangled corpses all round the base. Just saying...

A very nicely composed image John. (that book's working Smile)
it could be that the birds have slightly more grey matter than the detractors, just saying...
Anyway, wasn't the world supposed to end in 2012 ?

I'm a big fan of wind farms John and find them quite relaxing and reassuring.
Lots of people say lots of things about lots of new inventions. Funny how they never seem to be around to admit that they were wrong.

A beautiful shot even though I am not a fan of these windmills which seem to be taking over our landscape.

We have lots of these in windy County Durham. I don't mind them, visually, but a lot of the time many of them, for whatever reason, don't actually seem to be working.
