The only airworthy example of a Supermarine Spitfire Mk XI. This rare and original aircraft carried out 40 missions over occupied Europe with 16 squadron RAF, during 1944-1945 and has been the subject of a superb book called "Spitfire in Blue". Strafed by ME 262's in 1945, she retains her originality with pride. This Spitfire has just 500 hours total time to this day, including her RAF service.
