What makes this absolutely stunning and nerve-jangling for me (it is well steep!) is the view of the houses hundreds of feet below. It gives this image a perspective that is, for me, beyond description. Love it.


Thanks for your kind comments guys - it was a bit steep but worth the risk for the photo I think (just).

A friend who had been to India had images of prayer flags,
so was interested in yours.
Congratlations on your climb and danger involved in such an amazing shot.
The flags are really interesting.

My parents in law went to Everest base camp(my ma in law made it, my pa in law had to pull up short)...I;m very envious of them..and you.
Fantastic photo, like the choice of aperture to keep the market discernable but not intrusive.
