Pretty Flies

By moiral
Afternoon all. Now flies are not things of beauty, or so I thought. A couple of shots taken the other day. As I didn't have a tripod or monopod, I used TV setting instead of AV, as didn't think I would be able to hold camera steady enough. Turned out not too bad, but a bit soft on the wings. Would be pleased if anyone could identify them as I haven't a clue what they are. Just liked the beautiful colours, especially the green one.
Glad I gave you a laugh yesterday, you do understand that the conversation was heavily edited GrinWink. Thanks for C&Cs - was just a fun shot.

The colours and detail are fabulous on both pics Moira - the green fly looks almost metalic. Nice compositions and dof.
