Pride #1

By SlowSong
The first set in a series of pics taken at Gay Pride in London today, always a good fun event. They're not brilliant as it's not easy to get anything too good when you're stuck up against a barrier and have to lean over, but this first six are of what I could see over the road while we were waiting for the parade to start. And, yes, I do know I've cut their heads off, deliberately. In some shots anyway. Smile

I will be uploading some more images but I've deleted most of them now. Somehow, the day after, they just don't look so good. Grin

Cheers, Chris

Quite the opposite cameracat. Everyone had cameras, including the paraders, and posing was positively encouraged. I've got loads of parade pics to process yet so they'll get a bit more interesting during the week. Smile

Well done Chris for your photojournalistic approach to your subject. We were in London at Hammersmith to see John Mellancamp, saw plenty of the residue of this event ! Ron.

I was there too Chris, with some members of our camera club, shame I didn't know!
I also spent some time leaning on the barriers, but the better shots were found just wandering around!
Looking forward to your next uploads!

That's a shame Tony. Never mind. Don't hold your breath though for many more. I've deleted most of them. Sad
