Loch Maree, Torridon, Scotland
I have photographed these two gorgeous trees quite often and always like them best when photographed with a long lens to compress perspective between the mountain, mighty Slioch and the blazing golden birch tree with its illuminated Scots Pine neighbour. This is probably one of the best shots I have of the pair and I particularly enjoy the blue cast falling down the mountain slope courtesy of a clearing sky when juxtaposed with the golden birch foliage.
