Project Decay - Month 33

By johnriley1uk
This Pentax MG was beyond repair so I selected it for this experiment, one that I had been looking to try for some time. I wanted to see how nature would claim a camera and turn it into a miniature ecosystem, over a long period of time. The camera has been out in all weathers in the same place, untouched. This started 2 years and 7 months ago and the only drawback has been the resilience of the camera. Even now, on month 33, it largely resists decay. At this point I've decided to make an image every three months rather than monthly, so this is the last shot until the end of March 2014.

I am a bit skeptic, keeping them in a steel trunk.Poor me they have no value . A long list from Kodak Retina , Leica's to Nikon F 90 & lenses.

I think they have more value than you might suppose, there are some very desirable classic cameras.
