Purple Sunbird

This Purple Sunbird is a regular visitor so it was not too difficult to get a few shots. But getting a good one.......
Yes - I know it isn't Purple but his new purple feathers come in the winter. They are just beginning to come through in this shot.

Wonderfully captured with the open wings and lovely colours. Just wondering if you've thought about cloning out the tiny spot of green by the top left corner, it seems to distract my eye ever so slightly from the beautiful bird.

You're right about that - I didn't notice that bit remaining after the crop until after I uploaded!
