Taken last night towards sunset and just before a torrential splashdown. Fortunately I packed up before the torrential rain arrived, but unfortunately I missed the spectacular rainbow that followed the rain
This field is full of Phacelia, from a distance it can be mistaken for lavender or flowering thistles, but it is in fact used as an eco friendly soil enhancer, it puts back nutrients into soil and is being increasingly used as a "green" manure. The bees love it - I have never seen so many bees in a field of flowers.
As always Thanks for Looking.
Thanks to Pete for the HC on my previous image.
