A fraction brighter would've suited my monitor.
Perhaps the "dodge" tool in photoshot or similar used along the body would've done the trick for me.

Pyrrhosoma nymphula to be precise. Or to you and me a large red damselfly. So you've proved your equally as good with invertebrate macro as you are with flowers but marginally better with the names
