Queen Street Mill re visited

Thank you for all your votes and comments on yesterday's upload and a special thank you to Len (Len1950) for his valued user award.

Today's image was taken back in 2016 but has been given the mono treatment.

Queen Street Mill is a former weaving mill in Harle Syke, a suburb to the north-east of Burnley, Lancashire, that is a Grade I listed building. It was built in 1894 for the Queen Street Manufacturing Company. It closed on 12 March 1982 and was mothballed, but was subsequently taken over by Burnley Borough Council and maintained as a museum. In the 1990s ownership passed to Lancashire Museums. Unique in being the world's only surviving operational steam-driven weaving shed, it received an Engineering Heritage Award in November 2010.

What a really interesting image Carol. Super composition and I like your choice of black and white processing. The detail in this is marvellous. The cotton hanging from the looms and rollers, those baskets misshapen with use, and the weaving shed itself. Excellent - very different.
Not as prestigious as the Heritage award, but let me add my own award!

Reminds me of the Armley Mills Industrial Museum in Leeds, there's a room like this full of machinery, seems to go on forever! A super capture here Carol, excellent processing and working well in mono 😃👍
