Quiet day in the house with awful weather outside so tried to do something different with a bunch of flowers that was begging to be photographed.

Filled a baking tray with some white sand bought from artists supplies shop, ripped head of a gerbera, gave it a spray with some water, then shot it top down instead of the usually seen side-on.

Flower was actually red to begin with, played around a bit in Photoshop with it afterwards though and thought the yellow was more striking.
