A wonderful selection of goodies within those walls, Colin.
Aircraft are so good to photograph even when they produce a big composition problem.
The cars are always so well preserved too with lots of chrome and other shiny bits.
A fine example all here, Colin. No doubt some close up detailed stuff will appear soon...

I must have visited 20 years ago, while teenage children were at a church event in London. My memory is dominated by the joy of being able to walk through a Sunderland flying boat: other Airfix modellers will perhaps remember it as the 12/6d kit: something is telling me that it was less than that at one time... But definitely the biggest and most expensive model.

Yep the flying boat is still there
But I don't imagine the other two hangars were
You'd probably enjoy another visit.
Combine it with the tattoo show!

A wonderful bit of nostalgia; I think the last time I visited Hendon was 1976. I don't know, seems like only 44 years ago. 🥴 I must say Colin you really do give value for money and once again we have an encyclopaedic collection of images! The Mustang does look good in that polished metal finish as well. I was rather hoping to see one flying this year but I fear that there will be no air displays during 2020. Oh well, we plod on; one way or another there'll be plenty to do. Please reassure me that you haven't been dangling off any tall buildings!
All the best, G. 🙂

Ha ha! Thanks Graham.
No ... done the bridge hanging now.
Was thinking of wing-walking next ... or wing-hanging??
Not sure which part of the world you are in? ... but if life ever gets back to normal, and you ever are visiting another show, do let me know.
Distance permitting, it would be fun to have a go at photographing my first air show, and nice to meet you (and possibly Matron) too.
Colin
