I said I should be building an ark! These images were taken earlier this week when we had a very brief spell of sunshine. I love trees and reflections so this is one of my favourite walking spots, Rivermead Island. However, my walk has been halved now as The Thames has begun to take over. We have had a lot of rain since I took this and more forecast for next week. We last had floods here around 8yrs ago. The whole of Rivermead Island was under water then and many houses were flooded. Thankfully we are a long way off that at the moment.
I’ve been experimenting on Snapseed with mono. I like them but not sure which are more effective the colour or the mono. I’m going to try to upload the colour & mono versions. At the moment I’m doing everything on my iPad so I hope the images don’t look horrendous on a computer sized screen!
Thank you for the votes and comments on yesterday’s image ‘Life an the Rialto’ and Alan for your award. The more I look at the image the more it looks like the lady is floating. I was much lower down on the steps looking up at them. The way her costume billows out and my angle hides her feet. Now I’ve seen it that way I can’t unsee it!
Keep safe out there everyone.
