Rain Stopped Play Again

Going through a bit of a Black & White phase! Previously uploaded a very similar (possibly the same) shot in colour, think I prefer it in bw. Spent a while fiddling in photoshop, not sure if I've overcooked it...

This is more dramatic than the colour version and gives more impression of imminent bad weather.

I think that the detail of the harvester really helps convey that sense of the clouds leaping from the page. Great photo! Well worthy of an RC.

There is so much energy in the sky. Yet, the land looks calm. The B&W adds to this contrast and makes the picture all the more powerful. I hope someday I'll take a picture like that.
