Rainbow over the Ship Inn

By LeighRebecca
Just back from a week in Devon, but didn't do a great deal of photography down there, so here's another from my rainbow series on Saltburn beach.

At this point Phil Dove and his mate, Eric, were taking cover from the substantial downpour that was creating this rather intense rainbow. They are at the end of the fence in front of the pub, which you won't be able to see at this size, but they are clear enough in the original version at 100%. Told you I'd look it out, Phil Wink

This was an early shot of this rainbow, as it was hard to keep the raindrops off the front filter after the first couple of shots. (even when I remembered I'd got a rainsleeve thingy in my bag).
I wish the car weren't there, but a few seconds later there was another car, as someone pulled in to admire the rainbow Sad

Hi there, What a cracking image. The cars can be cloned out if you have PS.Also you may want to clone the lamp posts on the LHS, this is a brilliant image and your persistence with the rain has payed off. Mickey

Thanks Den. Good to hear your thoughts. I thought you were taking a break from this place?
Thanks Mickey. I'm not sure I want to go too far with cloning tbh.

Glad you got a full one, and using it to frame the pub is nice, would look smart behind their bar I would think.

Thanks everyone.
Sounds like a plan, Den. I tend to be reluctant to comment much on critique images, as I feel I would need something particularly useful or insightful to say, but glad you'll still be around.
Steve, maybe I should go in with a big print? (you know I won't though, don't you? Wink )
