Introducing new bricks, and narrow dof. The series progresses well, Den. v1 my preferred today.

These blocks are certainly keeping you busy, Den!
I think V1 gets my vote as favourite but I do like the effect of V4, too!

"Random" is really working for me, Den.
What is also working here is the shallow dof. Before, you had all the bricks in good focus. This is better.
I particularly like the pattern of the shadow made by the long brick at the top. Also, you are filling the frame, with less blank space showing. The three colours are good, just enough. Odd numbers are good in photography, and it's worth remembering this when choosing the number of bricks to use.
V2 is too contrasty for me.
Not sure what you've done in V3, but the shadows are deeper and it doesn't seem to have the sharpness of V1.
So, V1 is my favourite of these 3.
As to V4, that's great! Just shows what you can do with a bit of imagination. I see it as basically an abstract. The shadows are now white, everything else is different shades of blue, and there is a luminescence to some of the bricks, making them almost look like glass, or a clearer plastic than they actually are.
So glad you are getting new ideas about this project, especially the shallow dof. And V4 shows real creativity.
Pamela.
