Re upload of a shot that had a water mark in the sky, Doh! This was taken Friday morning looking SW on Rannoch Moor. I had planned to get some shots in Glencoe but the weather was against me. Strangely it was ok up on the moor! I was up at 03:30 so I was determined to get something to save my day! Hope you like

Dramatic skies and good FG interest which resembles a map!

Lovely stuff!! Spooky that a few hours later I was also on this point having started the day down at Loch Kilchurn (and never going on this point before)! You are right about Glencoe - Rannoch definitely had the best light Smile

Thanks for the comments and votes everyone. Jeanie love your shot from the valley you've posted. Certainly looks better weather today than it was yesterday morning. I live down in Selkirk so it's a long drive for me to get up there Sad Worth it though when I ca.

LOL.....I drove up yesterday morning from Blackpool... but here for a week or so... The glen was covered in cloud all day - never seen the amazing afternoon light that Rannoch Moor had yesterday. It was a nice morning. Tipping down now though... started as I left the Glen to return to cottage in Glencoe at about 1530. Smile

Ha ha, I was thinking while sitting in the car, still dark, gale blowing and driving rain, I need to spend a week up here! Well I'm sure you'll have a good week and get lots of shots (rain permitting) Smile

Wonderful view and I like the use of unusual portrait format.
