Rat at Westport Lake

By PGibbings
I purchased a Sigma 150-600 Contemporary lens today and stopped of at a local lake on the way home as I was excited to try it out. There's always plenty of birds around but this is the first time I have seen a rat there, I had the camera on Av with 400 iso, when I suddenly saw this little chap in the undergrowth. He stared at me for a second or two then disappeared, I managed to fire off 3 shots, it wasn't until after I saw that the shutter speed was 1/20 second, so I'm pleased to have got such a sharp shop. Definitely impressed with this lens so far.
