Well given the awful light we had at yesterday's BWC meet and the fact I has to shoot at ISO1600 because of it, I don't think this has come out to badly.
Taken using manual focus and the Live View mode, I was trying to get a decent close up of these very cute and fabulous little Water Voles.
Think I scared a few folk there who were watching me take this as at the time I was using a 28-135 IS lens on the camera and was very carefully holding the camera just about an inch above the waters surface and then trying to move the camera as close to the subject as I dared without spooking it. The idea being to give me a different angle of view to all the other images people were taking.
But given the very slow shutter speed (1/40sec), the grain of using a high ISO and the fact it was handheld, I'm quite pleased with the result even if technically the image is far from perfect.......But I do like to try things a little differently I'll let you all decide if it works or not......LOL
Hope you enjoy looking and great to see you all at the BWC yesterday, kindest regards to everyone........
