Couldn't help myself - did a mod too...nothing wrong with this just as it is but I thought I'd see how it looked with a bit more contrast.

Anquish and angst conveyed here Jo. Very raw indeed. Ron.

just been looking through your PF and I am really impressed. It is a really great style that you have. The thought behind the images is really awesome. A true artist.

thanks for mod Nic, it's the same as one of the variations i had funnily enough! just i wanted to get away from the grain/contrast a bit on this one for a change Smile

i'll put the org shot in the mods i think, complete with paint on my hands lol

The amount of grain is spot on IMO - though the mods are also very effective - shows what you can do so long as the original image is good in the first place - which it is Wink Beautifully composed and created. Bruce

I like this....I also find Poochies background very attractive, but the head is too "gone" Maybe you can combine your torso with his background. Very nice pose and treatment overall, though.

Ok...first off, GREAT pose, lighting and choice of background.

BUT...and I don't mean to sound boring...but I love your original shot.

Do you know...I went into mods and immediately went, "Oh yes...THAT!"

Then I noticed it was by you and when I opened it up, it was the original shot!!

Just the right amount of grain, and I really like the softness of the hair, too. Despite the angst, there's something almost gentle about this one.

This looks like a dramatic moment in a modern dance routine, It's effective and emotive. Lots of lovely mods but for me, yours still has the edge.

Does this work? Well, it's one of the best pictures of the day. The raw look as you call it, is just about perfect for this. Yours is best even with all mods done by excellent photographers. Regards, Bert

Very emotional. The treatment is spot on for the mood of the figure.
