Reach for the sky

By gary_d
This was taken earlier this year on a bright sunny day., it was quite high up and taken with my 400mm lens.

A question to all the men out there, do your loved ones come out with statements and everything they say means something different, well 'She who must be obeyed' came out with one this morning on returning from the shops.

She said Durb's, not my name but the one she uses when she wants something so straight away I knew I was in trouble.

I think its time that 'we' meaning 'you' touched up the paintwork, meaning 'totally re decorate' before Christmas meaning 'right away' there are a couple of tins of paint in the boot of my car, meaning '6 tins'.

But fair play ''bless her'' she always involves me, she goes out and picks the colours and always allows me to put it on the walls.

For this reason I will be on site a little less for about a week meaning ' about 4 weeks'

Regards. - gary

If there is a positive side to my ''health issues'' Gary,is that I am no longer fit enough to do the decorating. My wife recently papered our sitting room and she was the first to admit she made a pigs ear of it !! My advice to you is to take the bit between your teeth and do the decorating.
ON NO ACCOUNT, DO NOT LET HER DO ANYTHING !!
Nice image by the way.

In her defence, we plant the seed of the idea and ease you into it so that you offer to do it without suffering any duress, almost as if it was your idea in the first placeGrin.
