Reach for the Sky

After taking my previous upload of the 'Ridings', I walked a few metres along and turning the opposite direction to face the west end of the Cathedral, grabbed this shot. The Ultra-Wide lens on the iPhone 13 Pro set at its shortest focal length provided a dramatic shot, here looking up at the Cathedral's spire - the tallest church spire in Yorkshire, reaching 247 feet (75 metres).
A few seconds after taking this image and walking down to the right, a squirrel shot past me on that grassy area! First time I've seen one in our town centre. He was a bit more agile than me, so didn't get a pic of him… 😬

Raw image processed in Adobe Camera Raw, tweaked in Nik Collection's plugins and Photoshop Elements 2020.
