The NIK version looks fine as I don't think it's overdone.

if he is contemplating a master-of-ceremonies' career, he might be on the brink of making a really bad decision, no doubt.... and i like the enhanced tonal contrasts in the lead shot

More detail in the NIK without the sliders being pushed too far to the right, John.
Before reading your notes, I thought he was silently wishing 'those bloody passengers would hurry up and get on board!'.

Taking pictures of him din't seem to annoy him though John.

I don't think he even noticed me, John. I wasn't messing around!

The NIK version gives the image more punch. As for the steam guy - I just think that he's off in his own little world - perhaps dreaming about driving the Flying Scotsman one day; or, about the annoying visitors who get in the way of the REAL work?

I like the contrast boost in the Nik version. The original looks quite flat in comparison.

Just the right amount of colour/detail extracted by Nik filter - despite uniform and dirty hands, somehow this staff member doesn't conjure up my idea of a railway worker!
Just back from a Yorkshire Steam Train Trip with idealised visions of nostalgic railways and workers!
