Ready For Takeoff

By Dazbo
Syrian Airways Boeing 747SP-94 (YK-AHA) turning on to runway 24L at Manchester for its 7 hour flight to Domascus. There are only 26 747SP's still flying making this quite a rare bird.

Nice old kite, maybay a tighter crop on the fuselage as the wing is incomplete.

As you were probably limited for viewpoint this is a good compostion, the exposure and depth of field is excellent with the airline's name clearly in focus.

Pity you could not have had a little more space in front of the nose -- could you not have swung round to the left slightly?

Thanks for the comments. I had good lighting that day which helped greatly. I could have got a bit more room at the front but missed it when taking the shot, it was moving quite quickly because it had a short departure window. I'll try for a bit more room next time!
