Reception.

Orphans swarm to meet Mrs. Harper, wife of a wealthy car dealer. A regular visitor to the orphanage ran by nuns at the peak, cynics might say it is because of the toys and candy she always brought. I recorded an entirely different reaction. Mrs. Harper spoke some Cantonese, which charmed the children. They were always crushed when she had to leave.

Wonderful period piece of the 50s. There is a richness in this mono, that no colour could ever replace. Beautiful group photogaphy that tells a story.
