Red Capsicum

By ChiliMan
Not the best shots (handheld indoors) but I wanted to share with you this lovely big red capsicum before I set to it with my knife. See the bulging heart at the front in V1? Pretty cool, huh? Grin

Took these in the dining room under the wall fluorescent light, with a dark door as the background. It was easy enough to wipe out the background to a solid black.

I got two of these bell peppers to cut the hotness of the jalapeno jam. The jam is still super hot but I ain’t gonna modify it anymore. Instead, I will use it in small amounts as suggested by EPZers…additions to curries, soups, casseroles, etc. Also with cream cheese.

I will keep you apprised of my next chilli jam or chilli anything (like relish) attempt. I’ve got a packet of pectin which is just begging to be used Grin

Andrew

PS I know I know…the title is pure genius and should receive a Nobel Prize Wink

You can see a heart here if you like Andrew,
but the shape looks like something else to me !!
So with that in mind,I will sit on the fence with these
as I cannot make up my mind which version I prefer !!

Looks extremely tasty, Andrew.
And yes, I can see the heart shape clearly.
Having said which, V2 offers echoes of my photo that cracked you up earlier today . . . Tongue

That hot? even with the addition of these two lovely bell peppers Andrew! Have no preference as to the shots, but might go for V1 just for the peppers heart!
